Recently, we discovered through developer chat some of the new changes coming to Diablo 4 Loot Reborn, including Helltide density, bosses, mechanics, quests, events, and even Andariel is making a comeback with Tormented Boss changes.
In this guide, we’ll summarize some of the key changes to help you quickly understand how Season 4 is different from previous seasons and get a head start on Loot Reborn!
For Helltide, the developers looked closely at player feedback and general experience gained from other popular activities that players seemed to enjoy, such as Blood Harvests in Season 2. So, what’s the difference?
When you step into Helltide, you’ll notice a new Threat meter on the right side of the screen. This one fills up as you kill demons and engage in content.
Threat levels are divided into three levels. Each level increases the rewards and difficulty of monsters. They will throw ambushes at you, and elites will start spawning. But it also means you’ll get more Diablo 4 Gold and loot from it.
Once the meter is completely filled, you become Hell-Marked. Hell-Marked triggers the final ambush, which means a full-scale wave of demons will be thrown at you, all culminating in the last battle against Hellborne. Hellborne is very challenging and actually resurrected the hero of Sanctuary.
Regardless, once the frenzy wave ends, or if you die, Threat meter resets.
Another new addition is the ability to collect a new material called Baneful Hearts. They mainly drop from Tortured Gifts around Helltide, which are basically Helltide Chests, and sometimes you may see them from various demons around the area, such as Doomsayers and Hellborne.
These Baneful Hearts are important because you can summon a zone-wide boss for each one, called Blood Maiden.
To find this demon, head to the demon head icon on the map. Summoning the big bad requires three Hearts, but if you’re leaching from a friend, you’ll need zero Hearts. Instead, contributors who summon Blood Maiden receive additional rewards. No matter what, everyone is a winner.
There are many other major changes, including new random pop-up Doomsayer, Iron Wolf, and Demonic events waiting to be discovered. Additionally, Helltide-specific Whisper Bounties are included here, and Whispers in general have been fully enhanced.
Next, let’s talk about some Tormented Bosses. Joining Boss Ladder is Maiden of Anguish, Andariel. She shares the same loot table as Duriel, so you can get some of the best items in the game from both sources.
Additionally, this encounter has been updated, so it should feel different than before. You can expect to encounter a variety of elements in combat, even her signature Poison Nova attack.
Andariel is located in Hanged Man’s Hall, east of Tasarak. You will need the summoning parts for Lord Zir and Beast in Ice.
Besides this, you can now summon level 200 versions of each Tormented boss, which are called Tormented Echoes. If you level them up to Echo, you’ll get five times more rewards than a normal Tormented Boss, but it only costs three times the materials and a new summoning item called Stygian Stones.
They can be summoned from the same altar as the normal boss, so just click through to Tormented version.
Stygian Stones can be found deep in Pit. After completing Nightmare Dungeon Tier 45, you will be given a priority task to unlock Pit. You can run them individually or in a team. Additionally, when you first kill any of these Tormented Echo bosses, you’ll gain a Resplendent Spark for your troubles, which can go a long way toward crafting some unique items.
Currently, Helltides can still be unlocked by completing the campaign or creating a campaign-skipped character. I’m guessing some of Season 4’s updates like Helltide expansions will cause them to appear in World Tiers 1 and 2 now. If you create a campaign-skipped character, you can use Helltides from level 1 to level 100.
So do Helltides’ changes now pose a threat? Undoubtedly, through the feedback of some PTR players, it is obvious that Helltides is actually more threatening than in any previous season.
Helltides are definitely the most effective upgrades we have in Season 4. Both Hell on Sanctuary and Demonic Invasions provide significant challenges for players.
Additionally, in Season 4 PTR, the developers actually increased the pickup radius of Aberrant Cinder, and they also stated that it will definitely still be there in Season 4.
As we all know, one pillar of Helltides upgrades is to find opportunities to maximize efficiency, and increasing Aberrant Cinder pickup radius is undoubtedly a huge quality of life change. Because you know, no one likes to backtrack and pick up Cinder and interrupt your flow.
On the subject of maximizing efficiency, one thing that wasn’t present in PTR but was present in Season 4 release is that the developers actually reduced the time required to interact with and open Tortured Gifts. As monster density increases, this could play a key role in a player’s endgame journey.
Finally, the developers also stated that they may add more encounters to Helltides, like a Butcher-style mechanic. While considering Helltides upgrades, these types of chance encounters, random encounters, or just the opportunity to add some novelty or surprise are definitely something to look forward to, and are definitely in the spirit of Doomsayer events.
To be honest, most of these changes are prompted by the community, and hopefully Diablo developers will hear more feedback. That’s all for today. See you at the Sanctuary!
After Diablo 4 devs investigated the feedback from players after PTR ended, they seem to have a new direction for the development of Season 4. Recently, the specific name of Season 4 has been revealed, namely “Loot Reborn”, which is based on fire and the forge, and Iron Wolves seems to be the specific theme of this season.
So what is “Iron Wolves”? It is a combat company composed of experienced mercenaries, specially created to destroy invading demons. From the PTR, we have seen how it actually performs in battle. Are you ready to fight alongside them?
As usual, Diablo 4 Season 4 has also added some new quests and mechanics for players to explore for great loot, such as gold, Igneous Core or other Uniques. What may surprise players is that devs previously promised it would bring players an earth-shaking experience in Season 4. From the exposure of the season name, we can see their emphasis on loot. Therefore, before the start of S4, players can learn more practical items farming ways, leveling tips or review the past and learn the new based on previous seasons experiences.
After the previous Seasons 1, 2 and 3, it was clear that none of those seasons went beyond the Seasonal Realm, let alone left anything worth playing in Eternal Realm.
Although the overall number of dropped items has decreased, the quality has improved. It greatly saves us time in organizing items and allows us to enjoy the game itself more.
Devs reduced the affixes for legendary items to three, and the affixes for rare items to two. Although the affixes were reduced, they became more effective. And, they have increased the overall value of these affixes, and every item has become more valuable. Every time we gain an item, we will become stronger.
Although the amount of gold consumed is at its highest when players re-roll items, the amount of materials you need to perform all forging activities at BlackSmith is now much smaller than before, which can reduce a lot of unnecessary expenses. In this way, you can get more powerful item support in the subsequent journey.
Next is the rarity of the items you receive will be affected by the level of the world you take part in. You can only gain sacred items and higher-level items in World Tier III. Ancestral items will only appear in World Tier IV. If you want to get those Legendary items with 925 Item Power, you must defeat enemies with level over 95.
Finally, all Uniques will appear in World Tier III, while some Uniques will only appear in World Tier I and II. And Uber Uniques will appear at max Item Power level when you kill a level 55 monster.
The new version of Codex of Power will bring fresh changes. First, you have unlimited use of Legendary Aspects you stored in Codex of Power when you salvage Legendary items. Legendary items salvage at the Blacksmith have great power and can upgrade your Legendary Aspects. After you enter Diablo 4 at the first time when Season 4 is released, some of your legacy aspect items will automatically be converted to a certain level in Codex of Power. By the way, your warehouse space will still allow you to load the same shares as before items, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to fit them into your small warehouse when you get better loot.
It contains many Aspects, and you can choose the direction you like to improve. And when you reach the highest level in some Aspects, the system will remind you that you have reached your goal.
Codex of Power will have new features, namely search, filtering and collection of Aspects. When selecting a power for imprinting in Occultist, your equipped power will be displayed via an icon and tooltip. These powers will be automatically saved to the Eternal Realm in the Seasonal Realm when the season is about to end. If these two same powers both exist in Eternal Realm and Seasonal Realm, the system would choose the higher one.
As the name suggests, Tempering Manuals are used to upgrade the quality of the equipment, which are divided into 6 categories.
Each Tempering Manual contains several optional affixes. You can easily find Tempering Manuals throughout the game. Once you find the Tempering Manuals, just add the right affixes to equipments to strengthen them and your combat power. But, before you Temper an item, you have to focus on its Tempering Durability.
Affixes given to equipment in the manual in Seasonal Realm will last until the end of the season, but affixes given to equipment in the Eternal Realm will be permanent.
Use all the materials you have worked so hard to get from those terrible mines and caverns into weapons, exploit their potential to the limit, and then you will have a greater chance of winning when facing future raids or missions.
The specific function of Masterworking is to increase the strength of all affixes on the equipment, and every 4th tier, it would improve the random affixes in the equipment. Affixes will turn blue after receiving the first reward, then yellow and then orange. But, if you want to make Affixes turn yellow, you may have to put in 10 times more effort than turning them blue. Similarly, if you want to make them change from yellow to orange, it is even more difficult. When you Masterwork an item and it has reached its limit, if you are still not satisfied with its performance at that time, the system also gives you the opportunity to reset the item.
However, I think most players are not willing to reset the top-notch weapons they have worked so hard to upgrade. So, this is a ridiculous permission. But I also think that for those old players who have the courage to return to Diablo 4, they can use the Masterworking mechanism to reset all their items and give themselves a chance to start over.
For those players who are lucky enough to get Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t just sit there and be happy. If you look closely at these precious things, there may be Greater Affixes on them. This thing is 1.5 times stronger than normal affixes. But I guess no one would be that careless. After all, when you get those items, the system will also give you a different audio prompt, and there will also be a special icon in your inventory to remind you that you have become a Lucky dog.
For those who haven’t obtained Greater Affixes through Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t be discouraged. After all, each Greater Affix is born in different ways. Because every Affix on the item has a chance to become a Greater Affixes in World Tier III and IV. Only one thing to note is that it is wishful thinking to want to turn an ordinary Affix into a Greater Affix by Enchant. lol!
In Season 4, it would be easier, streamlined and more effective.
In addition, devs also added Diamonds' Resistance values.
In general, the various upgrades made in Diablo 4 Season 4 are all considering players. The devs are making subtractions for this game, simplifying the Codex of Power and Gems mechanisms, optimizing various Affixes and Masterworking. While enriching the gameplay, it takes into account the feelings of returning players and new players, and perfectly fits the season theme of “Loot Reborn”. I wish everyone who starts Season 4 good luck.
Join me today as we explore the world of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, discovering the 5 Arcane builds that will bring excitement and dominance to the Lands Between. This guide has something to offer for both experienced Sorcerers and those new to the Arcane. From devastating spell combinations to awe-inspiring magical weapons, these build will strike fear into your enemies.
The first build features the Ripple Crescent Halberd, a rare drop obtainable from the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. It boasts S Tier scaling in Arcane, making it unique. What's remarkable about this weapon is its versatility in applying various status effects with any grease, thanks to its high arcane scaling. Even without grease, it deals with substantial physical damage.
For the build, the Rippled Crescent Halberd is the centerpiece. Additional components include the Dragon Communication Seal for buffs, granting an extra 35% physical damage and 15% damage negation from the Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow.
The Spear Talisman and Rotten Wing Sword Insignia are essential, with flexibility in slot number 3. The recommended options are the Ritual Shield Talisman or the Shard of Alexander for maximizing Spinning Slash. To complement the build, the Flask of Wondrous Physick should include the Thorny Cracked Tear and the Greenburst Crystal Tear for successive attacks and additional stamina.
The next is an Arcane build utilizes dual daggers, focusing on the Reduvia weapon alongside the Occult Great Knife to leverage additional blood loss effects. This setup helps alleviate the need for constant spamming of the Ashes of War ability.
This build excels at swiftly dispatching bosses, even those immune to bleeding, because of its high attack speed and respectable physical damage output. Talismans are incorporated to enhance the proc attack power of Ashes of War and provide damage mitigation.
Here’s a breakdown of the essential gear: Reduvia and Occult Great Knife, Dragon Communion Seal, synergize well with Arcane and the White Mask. Then we also need Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman or Green Turtle Talisman for extra stamina, Lord of Blood’s Exultation and Shard of Alexander.
For flask, opt for Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear. Similar to the previous build, the utilization of Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow buffs enhances physical damage output.
The next build focuses on utilizing one of the most underrated status effects to swiftly damage your enemies. This build centers on the use of Ashes of War and Poison Moth Flight. By triggering boosts from the Mushroom Crown and Rose’s Kindred, you can achieve a substantial damage increase with the 2 weapons utilized in this setup.
Here's a breakdown of the essential gear: Poison Uchigatana, Coil Shield (for fast Poison procs), Serpentbone Blade (for additional Poison buildup) and Dragon Communion Seal. Mushroom Crown (provides a damage boost when Poison is active), then we need Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Kindred of Rot’s Exultation and Shard of Alexander.
For flask usage, opt for Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear. Buffs such as Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow enhance physical damage output and complement the build's on poisoning enemies for maximum effectiveness.
The next build centers on Varre's Bouquet, a weapon that can cause significant bleeding if your enemy is susceptible to it. However, adding Frost Grease may be advisable for an extra 20% damage boost when triggering Frost buildup alongside blood loss. You have the flexibility to use any grease on this weapon to build up status effects like Blood and Frost.
For this build, you'll need Varre's Bouquet, along with the Dragon Communion Seal for Flame, Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. The White Mask provides a boost to bleed proc attack power, while the Lord of Blood’s Exultation, Axe Talisman, Dagger Talisman, and Shard of Alexander complement the build.
To complement the build's with heavy charged R2 attacks, use the Stonebarb Cracked Tear and Thorny Cracked Tear flasks to break your opponent's stance and execute critical strikes effectively.
The final build we have features the Regalia Of Eochaid. It's an Arcane build that relies purely on Dexterity and Arcane, with the weapon scaling equally in both attributes, although it leans slightly more towards the Arcane side. While we primarily focus on the Ashes of War, if you have 2 Regalias or another straight sword, the Dual Straight Sword move set can also be incredibly effective.
The Ashes of War can offer flexibility in combat strategies. Knowing when to fully charge it for maximum damage or to opt for quick bursts of damage is crucial. A fully charged Ashes of War can devastate bosses. Using the Dragon Claw to slam enemies to the ground allows for charging up the Eochaid's Dancing Blade to unleash unparalleled damage upon their recovery.
For this build, you'll need the Regalia Of Eochaid, the Dragon Communion Seal, and suitable armor providing over 51 Poise to withstand hits while charging the Ashes of War. Additional gear includes the Shard of Alexander, Dragon Crest Great Shield Talisman, the Godfrey Icon, and the Rotten Wing Sword Insignia.
For the Flask of Wondrous Physick, utilize the Stonebarb Cracked Tear and the Dexterity-knot Crystal Tear to complement the weapon's dexterity scaling. Buffs include Flame, Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow, and any Dragon Communion Incantations of your choice, with Dragonmaw being a personal preference.
In EA Sports FC 24, no one starts out as a perfect player. You have to climb up step by step, improving every single day, and then become an elite player. So, in today’s guide, I’m going to share the ultimate tips to help you improve to the Elite from any division in Division Rivals and get the rewards.
Starting off with divisions 10 to 7, like other games, FC 24 has unique mechanics with different difficulties. At this stage, your aim should be to learn the fundamentals. Remember, without mastering the basics, you won't be able to progress and might get stuck at the same level. Let me give you 2 very basic examples, one for offense and the other for defense.
Defense: When defending on the pitch, mastering how to defend with Jockey is crucial. This defensive mechanic, activated by holding the L2/LT button, positions your players defensively, enabling them to better defend and mirror opponents. Rather than aimlessly chasing the dribbler, focus on getting in front of them and utilizing the jockey button to gain a defensive edge.
Offense: The direction your player faces is crucial for offense. Pressing buttons anytime is possible, but passing or shooting in a direction you're not facing decreases accuracy and power. Remind yourself if passing or shooting in a direction, turn towards it first. Take extra steps if needed, but remember this rule.
At the beginner stage, mastering basic mechanics is crucial, but hand-eye coordination can pose a challenge. Even if you know the right move, executing it accurately can be hindered by incorrect finger inputs. The key to overcoming this coordination issue is practice, and fortunately, skill games offer numerous opportunities to hone these skills.
After you learn the simple mechanics, you need to start using them together as a whole. Heading from division 6 to 3 requires a better understanding of the game. This understanding is again based on the simple mechanics but much faster. Certain FC 24 Coins can power up your players and help you against your opponents.
With the advice from the beginner stage, you can go for a pass and right after, identify your next passing target while the ball is traveling. As an extra, control the ball into that potential passing direction and already prepare the next pass. Getting used to this gives you a significant advantage.
On the defensive side, you need to control your urge winning the ball and instead of going into a wild defensive challenge, wait for the right time. Breaking the shape while rushing out with the Defender could be easily punished, so make sure you stand your ground firmly. If the opponent securely has the ball at their feet, don't rush into a tackle.
When it comes to division 1 and 2, you might have to differentiate stronger mechanics from the weaker ones. Every single mechanic has its use in FC 24, but over the years, some of them can overrule the others, and this is what we call the meta, which stands for the most effective tactics available.
This year, the Cutbacks have been extremely strong. You head towards the wing, make your way towards the goal line, then turn and pass to a player who is coming from the back or is already inside the box in a proper position. You can score many goals with this overpowered mechanic easily. But you also need to learn how to defend against the meta moves.
Let's continue with the Cutbacks again. While manually defending the dribbler, you can tap the R1/RB button twice and hold it down after the second tap to activate the Partial Team Press, which will get your AI-controlled Defenders closer to the potential passing targets.
One other clear advice that I can give you at this stage is not to rely on the same mechanic repeatedly. They might work until a point, but getting stuck to one attacking style or mechanic will also get you stuck and keep changing them in your rotation, because this will be the key to becoming an Elite Division player in FC 24.
Usually, in the first minutes of the games, the opponents show their tendencies and how they like to play in EA FC 24. Be sure to analyze both defense and offense of your opponents. For example, if you see a player who likes to dribble too much, then you can prioritize defending the dribble in the next positions.
However, that doesn't mean you're allowed to leave the other option wide open. Try to approach the opponent on their dribbling lane while also covering a potential pass. This way, you defend both opportunities, even if you prioritize one over the other.
In their defense, if they like to become really aggressive and press up high, don't panic. Make sure you distribute the ball with side passes to your teammates and try to fill the gaps they created with their aggressiveness. Remember, for every move, there's a counter-move.
Try to give the opponent an obvious intention that you're making a move towards your comfort zone. This will trigger their tendencies, but the upside is you will know what is going to happen beforehand. With this information, you can bait the opponent into one direction and execute the initial plan in your head.
Hi, players! I’m excited to introduce a new Warlock build for Last Epoch 1.0 with the Wheel of Torment, which can tackle high corruption. In this guide, I’ll walk you through step by step on how to craft your own Torment Warlock. Let’s dive right in without delay!
Here’s a breakdown of the gear setup for this build, focusing heavily on unique items, although not all of them are necessary:
Moving on to other gear components: the Oracle amulet offers Necrotic Resistance, while the Necropolis Plate body armour and Spidersilk Sash belt provide additional Necrotic Resistance. With standard boots, gloves, and ring, the gear setup is complete. The choice all depends on your amount of Last Epoch Gold.
Chthonic Fissure: The initial step is to head left and upwards to acquire the node Chaotic Rupture. This node ensures that Chaos Bolts are automatically generated from your Chthonic Fissure, eliminating the need for manual activation. The next node to prioritize is Of Gloom and Flames, doubling the size of your Chthonic Fissure, resulting in increased Chaos Bolts and spirits.
After securing these nodes, the focus shifts to acquiring Damned Waters, Twisted Waves, and Grim Tide. The Grim Tide significantly boosts Chthonic Fissure and ailment-inflicted Necrotic damage multiplicatively for every 1% added crit multiplier. Twisted Waves amplify torment damage multiplicatively for every 2% uncapped Necrotic Resistance.
Considering the build’s high mana consumption, allocating points into Fragile Crust (3 points) and Fell Fire (1 point) helps manage mana more effectively. Investing 3 points into the Tombgorger further amplifies the multiplicative damage of your torment.
Soul Feast: Soul Feast plays an important role in this build. The first thing you want to do is get Hellmind and into Waning Life, which provides Necrotic Penetration and damage chance per intelligence. Then to get mana to ensure you never run out of mana, especially when fighting rares and bosses.
After that, allocate 5 points into the Bones of the Accursed. If you want more Ward, you should invest in this setup. However, if you prefer more damage, move 1 point into Grim Affliction, which offers 35% multiplicative damage but half the ward. This decision is entirely up to you.
Chaos Bolts: The first thing you want to do is get Extracted Liberation, which makes your Rip Blood auto-cast. Then, you want to get another Affliction where your Bone Curse is auto-cast. So, with your Chaos Bolts, you don’t have to manually trigger Rip Blood or Bone Curse. This setup helps with life leech and mana leech, making it very effective.
Next, you want to get the Condemned to Chaos and Mania in Flames for the ignite chance and the damned. Additionally, you want multiplicative damage based on having ailments on the enemy. Lastly, allocate 1 point in the Grave for 2 DoT per missing health.
Bone Curse: The last skill, Curse of Bones, is its basic setup. First thing you want to do is to turn it into a Necrotic damage curse. You then want to get Marrow Thief, which is going to give you bone armor chance to kill for some survivability. Get Brittle Bones, which is where you're going to get your kill threshold, and then get slow duration.
Rip Blood: What you need to do is to put 5 point into Splatter. Then turns it into Ward Gain and made it a Necrotic spell. Boost its damage and then get more Ward back from Rip Blood. If you can handle it when it comes to mana, which is going to double your Rip Bloods.
Acolyte: Starting with the base Acolyte tree, you want 8 points into Forbidden Knowledge, 6 into Stolen Vitality, 1 into Mana Mortality, and 5 into Unnatural Preservation. You want as much Necrotic Resistance as possible, and you're almost going to max your Necrotic Resistance in this first tree because you've got 6 vitality and then you've got 60 Necrotic Resistance.
Warlock: You want 5 into Soul Stealer, 5 into the Occultist Mind for mana and intelligence. You want to put 6 into Spirit Leech, which is going to keep you alive. You're then going to get some Ward, but this note is very important: Ward Decay Threshold per 1% Necrotic Resistance.
You're then going to put 5 into Harrowing Armor, which is going to help you stay alive, and 5 into Dark Protections, which is going to give you damage reduction and help you stay alive. You want to make sure you have Withering because this is also going to give you less damage taken while withering and help keep you alive.
In today's discussion, we'll delve into the Spectre build guide for the Path of Exile 3.24. I must advise against starting with the Spectre build guide on a low budget or as a league starter. However, in the Necropolis League, we now have access to the Moon Dancer Spectres which can enable you to embark on this build right from the start.
Once you can obtain 4 spectres, that is when you can start fully playing this build. To get 4 spectres, you need the Death Attunement node on the skill tree, as well as having a Level 25 Raise Spectre gem. This can be achieved by having a Level 21 Raise Spectre gem along with a plus level of Raise Spectre from either your Bones of Ullr or unique boots.
There is an option of getting a Replica Dragonfang's Flight that gives up the spectres to Level 3 extra. However, using the exclusive Perquil's Toe does more damage, requires very little POE Currency on gear, and is a great deal on the skill tree.
For the low-budget approach, we are going to be going in with the Ascendancy node of Mistress of Sacrifice. This is because of the low-budget build we'll be using Bone Offering to give ourselves and our minions block chances.
We'll also be running Commander of Darkness for resistances to us and our minions, Mindless Aggression for damage and life, as well as Bone Barrier to provide ourselves with some leech. I would recommend not specking into the leech nodes and simply having the generic leech, so it has less strength to it than it should be.
We are going for the tempering as Enduring Bond mods. We're going for Spiritual Command or Sovereignty, as well as the Redemption and Righteous Army on the left-hand side, Gravepact in the bottom, and then we're just picking up Blocking nodes and resistance notes. In the former Sanctuary, we're also picking up Eldritch Battery.
Eldritch Battery allows you to use the Divine Blessing setup. The problem with the Divine Blessing is that it's going to cost a lot of energy shield. Because of this, it's something you will take when your gear is supplying enough energy shield for this to work. The other auras we'll be running are Generosity Wrath, Petrified Blood, and Determination.
Petrified Blood, you don't have to be on low life all the time. You can use a life flask to get full HP. The purpose of this is to create a state of over-leeching. As our minions will leech consistently to us, we will always be covering ourselves from the damage that's coming in.
We'll have a Conductivity curse, a Frostblink, Convocation, Faster Attacks with Shield Charge, and an Animate Guardian in a separate link, which you don't really need to use if you don't want to or feel comfortable with it because the medium budget cannot use an Animate Guardian.
The weapon will be a generic trigger weapon for Bone Offering, and Desecrates will have a Feeding Frenzy setup for Stone Golem and Raise Zombie, which will not only act as buffing for our minions through making the enemy take elemental damage to the Elemental Army and giving them damage buffs to our minions through Feeding Frenzy, but also act as meat shields to cover you and make you safer.
Links for the spectres are very straightforward as well. We'll have Raise Spectre, Minion Damage, Spell Echo, Returning Projectiles, Pierce, and Faster Projectiles for single Target switch gems. You would then remove the Returning Projectile for Slower Projectile.
As far as the pantheon is concerned, for the low budget, we’re going to be running the Brine King for freeze immunity and the Arakaali for the ignite reduction of duration. Outside of that, we can utilize the unique jewel Unending Hunger, which will perform well for clear speed.
The goal for the low budget build is to prioritize getting block sorted and having life and resistance capped, along with sorting your attributes through your gear. For example, Perquil’s Toe provides a lot of dexterity, but you’ll need additional dexterity, which can be obtained through other gear pieces.
The weapon will be a trigger, preferably +2, but +1 is the cheaper option, with a minion damage modifier, and the shield should have life, with a level of minion skills. The helmet should have life and +1 level of minion skills if possible.
In later stages, the chest piece will be a Delve modifier chest, granting an extra spectre to go from 4 to 5 spectres. Before that, in the low budget setup, aim for a corrupted 6-link with life, resistances, or attributes.
Gloves will focus on life and resistances. Look for energy shield bases to ensure coverage of the energy shield. In a great low-budget state, the high-budget version will use Elder Influenced boots to obtain that level of spectre per kill. Double Bone Rings with minion damage and attack speed are beneficial. Additionally, prioritize attributes like light for the darkness and throne.
For jewels, focus on life combined with minion damage after using a minion skill recently, or consider flat lightning damage. Rumi’s Concoction is a recommended approach, and consider using a jewel that provides effects like taunt or blind.
As Diablo 4 Season 4 begins play testing on PTR on April 2, we’re discovering that the developers have made changes in the new season that affect nearly everything about the game. Not only that, Season 4 also reshapes the meaning of character creation and attempts to make them a tool to destroy bosses. This is crazy!
Here, we’ll summarize the top five changes in Season 4 that surprised me the most, which may make you feel that the familiar Diablo 4 has completely disappeared. Without further ado, let’s get started.
It’s no secret that level 50 marks the beginning of Diablo 4 endgame, as this is when your gear and builds should start to come together.
It is at this stage that you need to clear Capstone Dungeons and their bosses to advance to the next World Tier for more XP and better loot. Previously, it only took a few hours to get to this point, but next season, it will be faster.
The developer has previously introduced in a live broadcast how players in Diablo 4 will gain XP benefits through World Tier difficulties. Starting next season, World Tier 2 has a 50% bonus XP, World Tier 3 has a 150% bonus XP, and World Tier 4 has a 250% bonus XP.
You can expect to see the new endgame crafting system in Season 4 sooner as you progress to higher World Tiers faster. This is an exciting change for those who crave more powerful Diablo 4 items but don't have the time to spend weeks grinding to level 100.
The powerful buffs Legendary Items or Aspects bring to a build work well. But the original Aspect system forced you to keep Legendary Items or Aspects in your stash in order to put on new gear, which was very annoying.
But in Season 4, not only can you replace gear less frequently, but Legendary Aspects will now be permanently present in your Codex of Power menu.
Most Aspects can be randomly rolled to determine the strength of the bonus number. While Legendary items have increasingly higher bonuses as they roll, you can permanently increase the number in your Codex of Powe by salvaging them at Blacksmith. You can imprint this aspect on other gear as needed without retaining anything in your stash.
This means our risk of using a perfectly rolled aspect on ordinary items will disappear, and it will be easier to try different ones.
The developers seem to have simplified this system so that you can focus on Tempering and Masterworking items later in the game.
The most exciting change is that the number of useless items dropped in Season 4 is about to drop significantly. Because the developers removed the restriction on Uniques, they now drop in World Tier 1 and 2, and monsters of level 55 or higher can even drop Uber Uniques.
For example, Necromancer can even find Black River Scythe before level 50, which causes devastating Corpse Explosions. This way, builds that rely on powerful Uniques will no longer have to wait until the endgame to reach their maximum strength.
The change to item power is also one of the surprising statistics in Diablo 4 and will also make loot more relevant. Previously, it was always bad to find gear with weak stats because of low item power. But in Season 4, item power has been standardized to where you don’t really need to think about it.
Maximum item power gear will always drop from level 95 or higher monsters. This means that by a round level 80, item power will become irrelevant when you run Nightmare Dungeons in World Tier 4. You only need to care about the actual stats of your gear and whether it’s worth upgrading them.
Also, Diablo 4 Season 4’s two new crafting systems, Tempering and Masterworking, allow you to add specific statistics to your items.
Whether you want movement speed or class-specific stats, your items will reflect which stats are important to you. On the surface, this may not seem like a big deal, but it will radically increase the number you can build.
In the new crafting system, you can choose which stats to invest in and to what extent. A Rogue with a lot of mobility cooldown reduction and grenade damage can invest heavily in Stun Grenades since they will drop whenever you evade.
Flexibility in stat selection adds variety to Diablo 4’s build options. Even if you decide to follow the build guide, it will take a while to create the theoretically best item, so you’ll have to decide which stats you personally care about during the process.
Finally, the developers revealed the new endgame dungeons coming to Season 4, which are Greater Rifts in Diablo 3. This is a limited-time dungeon that becomes increasingly more difficult as the levels go up, and has a new name: Pit of Artificers.
You can think of them like Nightmare Dungeons, but the goal is to race through them and eventually earn rare loot and materials.
The game will have more than 100 tiers, and the monsters will become increasingly difficult. Of course, as you level up, the rare loot at the end gets better and better.
Pit of Artificers will drop items to summon Tormented Bosses, which will drop materials allowing you to select an Uber Unique on your first kill. With Andariel joining the regular boss roster, you will no longer have to fight Duriel repeatedly to find the rarest items in the game.
While the new endgame activities in Season 4 won’t solve the problem of challenge in the open world fading away over time, it will add variety where it’s desperately needed. Considering we still don’t know what the season-specific features will be, this is a promising foundation for an increasingly stale part of the game.
In any case, the arrival of Diablo 4 Season 4 is bound to bring us a series of new surprises. Let us wait and see!

If you're familiar with WoW Season of Discovery, you likely understand that efficiently completing all your prequests and consistently engaging in dungeons will swiftly propel you to level 50.
However, for those who seek a more immersive experience, this guide offers comprehensive coverage of optimal questing zones, alongside valuable advice, recommended levels, and strategic routes tailored to enhance your journey during Season of Discovery Phase 3.
Before delving into the details, it's essential to grasp 5 key points:
Firstly, Season of Discovery presents an array of engaging content, including new runes and PVE experiences such as Nightmare Incursions in Ashenvale, Duskwood, Hinterlands, and Feralas. These events not only provide valuable experience and reputation but also offer unique items like the Anguish of Dream and the Nightmare Siphon to aid in your leveling journey.
Secondly, during the questing process towards level 50, there are often periods of slower progression. Engaging in dungeons like Uldaman, Zul'Farrak, and Maraudon can mitigate these lulls. It's advisable to undertake each of these dungeons at least once due to the multitude of quests available, providing substantial experience and introducing fresh content.
Thirdly, certain recommended zones may experience overcrowding, prompting the need for rerouting. Many of these zones encompass broad level ranges, allowing for flexibility in exploration.
Fourthly, it's important to note that undertaking quests marked as "green" provides comparable base experience to those labeled "yellow" or "orange" as long as you remain within five levels of their suggested level range.
Lastly, this guide serves as a comprehensive overview rather than a definitive roadmap to the fastest route to level 50. It aims to offer guidance on worthwhile zones and content areas to explore throughout your journey.
Stranglethorn Vale proves to be an exceptional questing zone for Phase 3, as well as an ideal area for those in their early 40s.
Renowned for its dense population of hostile creatures and abundance of kill quests, it offers a fertile ground for efficient leveling. Most initial quests in this zone lead to subsequent higher-level tasks, enhancing its appeal as a starting point for adventurers seeking optimization.
Before delving into Stranglethorn Vale, it's advisable to collect quests between Grom'gol and Booty Bay. Many of these quests overlap in various areas, allowing for simultaneous completion and streamlined progression.
Additionally, quests such as "Up to Snuff" and "Bloody Bone Necklaces," forming part of separate quest chains, need not be rushed during the first attempt. These chains often circle back to the same areas, simplifying future completion.
Should challenges arise, whether due to player-versus-player encounters or overcrowding, Dustwallow Marsh presents a viable alternative for smoother questing.
However, I recommend venturing into Scarlet Monastery Cathedral until reaching level 41 or 42, offering a strategic advantage over competing adventurers.
At approximately level 41 or 42, our journey leads us to the Badlands.
This region remains beneficial for leveling until around level 45, offering straightforward starting quests that yield ample experience. However, the primary allure lies in its connection to Uldaman, housing numerous dungeon quests to undertake.
Among these quests are "Solutions of Doom," situated in the southern Badlands at coordinates 51,76; "Power Stones," located at the heart of the region at 42,52; and "Platinum Disc," obtainable upon completing the dungeon itself. These quests provide adventurers with rewarding challenges and opportunities for progression.
For Horde players, it's advisable to remain in the Badlands until reaching approximately level 42 to 43, before transitioning to the Swamp of Sorrows.
This area offers promising opportunities for leveling, although caution is warranted due to the scattered yet dense population of hostile creatures.
Particular attention should be paid to the higher-level mobs near the Pools of Tears, especially with the presence of the new raid, Sunken Temple (also known as The Temple of Atal'Hakkar). Additionally, a formidable elite dragon roams the vicinity of the Eastern pool, necessitating vigilance.
Moreover, herbalists seeking Blindweed should take note that the Swamp of Sorrows is one of the few regions where this valuable resource can be harvested. Its scarcity makes it a lucrative commodity, especially as Phase 3 approaches.
Our next destination is Dustwallow Marsh. It serves as a suitable area for early leveling, spanning from levels 35 to 45. However, the optimal level range within this zone typically falls around level 42.
Of particular note is the presence of a quest named "Tiara of the Deep," which constitutes one of the dungeon quests for Zul'Farrak. This quest can be obtained in the southern section of the zone. Dustwallow Marsh offers a mix of quests catering to varying levels, though many of them are part of quest chains, which may not be the most efficient for leveling.
Personally, I tend to venture into Dustwallow Marsh during periods of quest scarcity in other zones or when facing challenges such as player-versus-player encounters in hotspots like STV.
Around levels 44 to 45, it's time to venture into Tanaris.
Tanaris stands out as one of my preferred zones for questing in the mid-40s and is home to the entrance of one of the finest dungeons available in this level range: Zul'Farrak. To fully engage with this dungeon, it's essential to gather numerous Zul'Farrak quests from Gadgetzan.
These quests encompass "Troll Temper" from Trenton Lighthammer, situated at coordinates 51,28; "Scarab Shells" from Tran'rek, located at 51,26; and "Divino-Matic Rod" from Chief Engineer Bilgewhizzle, positioned at 52,28.
Additionally, adventurers can acquire several quests from other zones, including "The Tiara of the Deep" from Dustwallow Marsh around 46,57, and "Gahz'rilla" from Thousand Needles at 77,78. However, it's crucial to note that completing "Gahz'rilla" necessitates obtaining a Mallet through a Hinterlands questline, so it's advisable to delay pursuing this quest. Finally, "The Prophecy of Mosh'aru" awaits discovery in the eastern section of Tanaris, known as Steamwheedle Port.
Between levels 45 to 46, Feralas emerges as the next optimal destination.
Prior to embarking on your journey to Feralas, ensure that you acquire the quest "Screecher Spirits" from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris, as discussed earlier. Navigating this zone may pose challenges due to frequent changes in elevation, as well as the presence of numerous bodies of water and steep hills. Additionally, Feralas serves as the habitat for higher-level Nightmare Incursions, offering exciting opportunities for participation.
While exploring Feralas, be mindful of the high density of hostile mobs, which can be encountered throughout the area. However, it's crucial to exercise caution around the northern region, particularly the level 60 dungeon area known as Dire Maul. This area is teeming with elites that can pose significant challenges, making it advisable to steer clear of this vicinity.
Around levels 46 to 47, it's advisable to journey to the Hinterlands.
This zone boasts numerous kill quests and dense mob populations. Notably, it is renowned for housing the challenging Jintha'Alor elite quest lines, requiring group coordination for completion.
Although Horde players will find more quests available compared to Alliance counterparts, the Hinterlands offers viable content for both factions. I strongly endorse undertaking these quests, as they provide a rewarding and immersive experience akin to navigating an outdoor dungeon. Ensure you assemble a full group, including a tank and a healer, as you'll encounter numerous higher-level elites. Allocate a minimum of 45 minutes for this endeavor to account for its duration.
Completing this run will yield nearly a full level's worth of experience through grinding and quest turn-ins. Additionally, it grants access to the Sacred Mallet, enabling the summoning of a secret boss named Gahz'rilla within a dungeon. Furthermore, adventurers may encounter the quest "The Ancient Egg" during this run, which was previously a prerequisite for Sunken Temple.
However, its relevance may have diminished since the dungeon transitioned into a raid.
Finally, if you've reached this stage, you're on the right track, as by levels 48 to 49, you can conclude your leveling journey in Searing Gorge.
These quests can pose some challenges, so I recommend tackling them with one or two companions to ensure safety. The area is dense with both mobs and quests, and occasionally, the respawn timers may catch you off guard, especially in the depths of caves or mountains. Exercise caution.
Additionally, at this level range, I suggest undertaking some runs in Maraudon. This dungeon offers a plethora of rewarding quests and presents an enjoyable experience with valuable gear. It features two distinct wings that can be completed independently, denoted by orange and purple colors, respectively. You can obtain several quests for Maraudon in Desolace, such as "The Pariah's Instructions" located at Centaur Pariah (50,86), and "Twisted Evils" starting at Willow (62,39).
Furthermore, within the dungeon itself, you'll encounter two additional quests. "Legends of Maraudon" unfolds into three separate quests during a single run, offering significant experience gains, while the "Seed of Life" is obtained from the final boss, Princess Theradras.
There are also 3 distinct quests available for both Alliance and Horde factions, but they originate from different locations. These quests are named Shadow Shard Fragments, Vyletongue Corruption, and Corruption of the Earth and Seed.
If you intend to prepare in advance for these quests, Stranglethorn Vale (STV) is an excellent zone to begin prequesting. Ensure you visit each of the eight zones to unlock their flight paths before embarking on your journey. Additionally, resist the urge to rush through content solely to reach the maximum level. Classic emphasizes the journey of leveling, offering numerous opportunities for exploration and discovery along the way.
